Alinghi wins the Grand Prix Les Ambassadeurs
After a very intense battle against le Realstone Sailing, Alinghi wins Grand Prix les Ambassadeurs at Société Nautique de Genève.
Having scored the exact same number of points than Realstone Sailing, Alinghi takes it all by winning the last race of the week end!
Congratulations to the Realstone Sailing who has been a very tough competitor during the 14 races that the D-35 fleet raced over 3 days on the water of Societe Nautique de Geneve with intense wind conditions.
“It is really fantastic that we have been able to sail 14 races this weekend, and it’s very satisfying to race at this level! I would like to congratulate the Realstone team that sailed very well during the whole event. It came down to very little, actually a single race. It could have been them, it could have been us! I’m really happy to start the season in these gorgeous weather conditions! I also would like to congratulate our tactician Tanguy Cariou who did a wonderful job” said Ernesto Bertarelli.
After launching officially its Partnership with Hublot on Friday and presenting a new Hublot Alinghi watch to the media, there was no better way to start the D-35 season than to win this first event.
